Victims of Bullying More Vulnerable children Sickly

Long-term effects of bullying victims are already known . Anxious , difficult to get along , low self-esteem and trauma are some of the psychological effects experienced by vulnerable victims of bullying . But did you know that bullying can cause physiological effects ?
Recent research from the U.S. to prove it . Lead researcher William Copeland said that children are bullied more often ill than other children . The pain also vary ranging from abdominal pain , difficulty sleeping , headaches, loss of appetite .
" We strongly believe that these things are the effects of bullying , " said William, who came from Duke University School of Medicine , Durham , North Carolina as reported by Reuters on Wednesday ( 05/14/2014 ) .
William conducted research to 1,420 children aged 9 to 21 years . They were interviewed about the extent of his involvement in bullying . Researchers also took samples of their blood every two years .
In blood samples of participants , researchers measured levels of C-reactive protein to see the extent to which inflammation occurs in the body . William said that the protein is highly affected by the levels of stress , psychological factors , and other environmental influences such as sleep deprivation .
The results showed that in children who often experience bullying , levels of protein C - reactivenya very high , so the risk of inflammation that occurs in the body increases. William added that C-reactive protein is a great sign of cancer .
" The inflammation that occurs as a result of bad things this time may have had a relationship with a health condition when the parents later , " said William again .
Unfortunately, researchers have not been able to prove that children are often bullied more at risk of serious illness when older . To prove this course participants the researcher had to wait 40 or 50 years old .
